With an upset, Hilton Magic could be back. We need to either upset Kansas, or a ranked team in Hilton this year.

Yeah no kidding. We've seen this team basically not show up for games including in CONFERENCE play!

One thing I will say is that our D isn't all that great necessarily. We've played a lot of bad teams... Mizzou still scored in the mid 70s against our "great" D....

In order for us to win, we have to play 110% and NOT do anything too stupid... After watching for the past month or so, you can't take that for granted with this team.

KU is very inconsistent, and theoretically we have a great chance to win, especially at home.

The bad news it that we likely won't but it will be one of those games where we had chances... KU 68, ISU 62

Question:

Are these prediction threads supposed to be serious picks? Or is there some unwritten rule that people are supposed to pick ISU regardless of what a logical person would think?

I counted 20 ISU picks to 14 KU picks, which doesn't really jive with the whole 8 point underdog thing, so I was curious if people are just blind, possibly ignorant, optimists or if there is something else going on.
