Re: Post game thoughts
I have yet to hear the Mac detractors give any suggestions as to what they would do to better the team/program. I'm very curious how they would go about fixing things.

Fire McD and the wins will produce themselves! Duh! Isn't that obvious that Greg is TRYING to lose!? Get rid of him and the W's will come rolling in!!! Yep, this thread has just been pwned. -

I want ISU to win. A good but not great KU team came in to James H. Hilton Coliseum today and basically had the game in hand the entire 40 minutes. I remember when KU used to bring a top 10 team in and not be able to come out with a win.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes. -

What would the pro-Mac crowd like to do to fix things? Or do you believe nothing is wrong? Keep doing what we're doing? Keep putting walk-ons in starting roles? Keep waiting until next year? Don't change anything?

The rest of this team...FORGETABOUTIT!!!!!
Next stop Colorado....Next Loss Colorado!!!!
This post looks pretty bad coming from a Cyclonefanatic "All-Star" ~ what does that mean anyway? It's ovbiously not being an "All-Star" for undying support and encouragement of the Cyclones.
Just my opinion though and I'm not an All-Star so my opinion doesn't matter anyway. No hard feelings - I just hope you can enjoy the rest of your weekend.......

If I was the coach, you're damn right I'd like to win. But, I can virtually guarantee I wouldn't. Working hard, being a nice guy, and wanting to win doesn't necessarily mean you'll win.
Greg has a chance to be one of the best representatives for ISU. I think the only thing missing is W's, and hopefully he figures out how to do that.

I don't think putting walk-ons in starting roles is anyone's ideal situation, and I would guess that Mac doesn't sit a McD All-American to play Brian Peterson.

Let a couple years of recruiting classes mature to the point where we have 5 scholarship starters and an 8 man rotation of scholarship players in the system. The recruiting classes continue to grow in talent and although we haven't produced wins, we are producing more and more talent to achieve those wins.

Do we need to shake up the staff? Let's hear something concrete.

Re: Post game thoughts
This was my first time seeing the team play this year and I must say that I was very disappointed. Other than Craig, they couldn't throw it in the ocean. IMHO we rely entirely to much on the 3 pointer. Perhaps what was most frustrating for me was the almost complete lack of offensive rebounding. There was often not even a white jersey in the picture for an offensive board. What is with that? When you shot as poorly as we did today, you better have the team crashing the boards. My daughters 3rd grade team put on a superior rebounding display too the Cyclones today. I am as pro-Cyclone as anyone and try to put a positive spin on anything cardinal and gold, but other than Craigs effort, there was NOTHING to like about the game today.

Re: Post game thoughts
One thing I will say is KU was just having things fall today. How many shots did they bank in? 5?
