They just got the Qwest center a few years ago. I went to the Drake v. Creighton game last weekend. And yes, beer does have a lot to do with their ticket sales. The other reason - Omaha is pretty large and there is no other college D-1 sport in the city.
Creighton is a quality program. They have had some recent success. They have yet to make it to the level that Iowa State has. I didn't say they did. I just said they could make a pretty good case. And you being an alum, I would have thought you would know that CU has made it to the sweet 16 before. They have made it out of the first round.

I think it would be pretty easy for one to argue that CU is a better program.
I'm not necessarily saying that, but they DO have a pretty strong case.
good lord....go back into the garage and shut the door.

Creighton also announced the attendance last night at 15,000. Both shows were making fun of that number, saying if there were 7,000 at the game they were lucky. If you want a laugh, check out the Creighton fans when they go on the road and realize they can't buy a beer. I was at the Creighton@Drake game a couple years ago, and some Creighton fans ahead of me in the concessions line looked lost when the clerk told them Drake doesn't sell beer.

Just think, if that had played the way I think it would've, last December we would've been saying "Chizik 'Altmaned' us". -

I am a grad school alum and Iowa State fan first. That is why I am not over on the Creighton message boards. You should try staying on your teams website.
So they went to the sweet sixteen once. I think you made my point. They don't make a good case or strong case or whatever other semantic argument you want to make.

I know minors would definately try to get their hands on these wristbands. That's what they do at Creighton anyway. Wrong guess.
