Nothing surprising here at all to me.
I agree that nothing too surprising (I didn't say "surprising observations" ). But people saying that GM's (WM's) teams are (were) obviously much better at rebounding that the WM's (GM's) teams are not being honest based on the statistics.

There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life:
The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves Orcs. ~ John Rogers

    04-05: Overall - 6th (34.4); Off - 5th (11.6); Def - 4th (22.8); Margin - 9th (-2.4)
    05-06: Overall - 7th (33.3); Off - 3rd (13.0); Def - 11th (20.3); Margin - 10th (-4.8)

    GM's three years:
    06-07: Overall - 5th (35.0); Off - 8th (11.1); Def - 5th (23.7); Margin - 9th (-1.2)
    07-08: Overall - 6th (34.4); Off - 11th (8.6); Def - 3rd (25.9); Margin - 9th (-3.7)
    08-09: Overall - 10th (33.3); Off - 12th (7.4); Def - 3rd (26.0); Margin - 10th (-3.9)

    Observations:
    * Their overall rebounding numbers and margin rankings are strikingly similar.
    * WM's teams were very good offensive rebounders, but relatively poor defensive rebounders.
    * GM's teams were/are very good defensive rebounders, but very poor offensive rebounders.

Now look at how well they rebound in the last five minutes of the game when the game is on the line.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style.

If you're suggesting that one is better than the other, then why don't you provide the proof of it being so. Your anecdotal observations really don't count as proof.
