"Is rumoured to favor Illinois, but doesn't confirm that. However, he did talk very complimentary of the Illini (to their reporter)."
Seems like this guy is telling every school that they are on top of his list | | |

Seems like this guy is telling every school that they are on top of his list Your comprehension skills are lacking. Do you think, maybe, that you can be complimentary but still not have a program at the top of your list?
Or are you just assuming the rumor is true?

Yeah, its a shame that GMAC keeps turning down those top 100 players that keep begging to come play at Iowa State. Go ahead and complain that he hasn't closed the deal on a ton of top players (yet), but quit spewing this garbage that he's not recruiting D-1 players. If only he could bring in some guys like Reggie Gearge, Robert Faulkner and Arron Agnew.

Coach is learning, has had 2 lousy breaks each of which would have meant a HUGE difference the next season and there is no doubt in my mind we are only a player away from being competitive again. And 2 or 3 players....wow. Whats with all the doom and gloom....i dont get it. We are not very athletic, do not have great shooters, are young and inexperienced inside.....all functions of recruiting imo and it is quite obvious 2 of the three are about to take a positive turn.

That was a different era. These days good guards will carry a team. If you have 2 guards that can score and dish, they can single handedly carry you to the tourney - it happens all the time.
Our current guards can't score and our current forwards can't rebound. If we can get guards that score and forwards that rebound, we'll be fine....
