I'm kind of surprised so many people took the bait...

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
I would but strickly for recruiting purposes. If termination became a reality, there would be no additional money for the extension.

Pollard said McDermott, in the third year of a six-year contract, would likely not see a contract extension after the season because “there’s no need to extend it right now,” but said he fully supported McDermott.

One regular season game, good or bad, should not be the deciding factor in much of anything.

Hopefully it's the confidence booster that the team needs for better performances in the stretch run. Is it too hard for both sides of the issue just leave it at that?

I may have been informed incorrectly but I think that as KG said it was built into the original contract. I'd like to see it but I don't where where to look even though it is public record.

It's posts like these that make me want to see negative rep brought back!!!
Not really, I just wanted to say that because I wanted to tweak all of you that loved giving out negative rep just because someone had a different opinion than you.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.
