So if you have one productive day at work you deserve a raise? Can I work for you?

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
If they get 20 wins this year, then he gets an extension.

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
Maybe not quite yet. But they looked GREAT last night. Even though it was against a bad team that didn't want to be there, they still looked great. Props to the whole team. Craig was Craig, DG played pretty well, Hamilton looked good. I could go on and on. With more experience this team will do good things in the years to come. It was a fun game last night.

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
I love the "call out the negative posters" threads. Would it be acceptable for the negative posters to call out the positive guys after every time we look bad? Of course not.

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
Let's see how the rest of the games go. That may have been our peak performance for the year.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: Give GMac a contract extension
Personally, for recruiting sake, you need to give him an extension. Have it performance based, but how can he realistically recruit a kid if the kid doesn't know whether the coach will even be there when he gets there. The recruit needs to know that the coach has a contract to work for the school while the recruit is there.

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
According to kg, he's already gotten a contract extention.

Dude, he has 3 years left on his current deal. if he was in the last year of his deal, I could see it impacting recruiting, but not with 3 years left.
I see GMac getting the extension sometime next year if things are going decent to well.

Seeing he is actively recruiting 2010-2012 players...three years down the road is 2011...I think that something needs to be in place.

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
Who cares about the extension.
If ISU is as pathetic next year as they have been this year, attendance will drop by 5,000 and Hilton will be as bad or worse than Carver to watch a Basketball game. A contract extension woun't save GMac.

Re: Give GMac a contract extension
It's so funny, I was going to start a thread stating the same thing and that Bill Fennely should be fired. Nice one PCC. One game win streak vs. one game losing streak. The really funny thing is how serious people took your post. BryceC, weren't you going into all positive posts and ******* in their cheerios last night? Hey Pot, kettle's calling... Maybe that wasn't you, so I apologize if it wasn't. I don't have time today to do research.
Either way, good showing against a bad team. Those games usually are where we stumble, not shine. So we can hope for a Wayne Morgan type of run at the end and make some noise. Stranger things have happened.
