The majority of the games we've played this year at Hilton, which I go to most, he just doesn't drive the lane, and TRY and keep the D honest. That's all I want to see. I see nothing wrong with getting anybody into the heart of the defense...Easier said than done...plus Petey is 6" so the odds of him shooting over anybody are not good. Not quick enough to get to the rim.

I can already see Petey skying over someone and throwing it down with some authori-ty! -

Not quick enough to get to the rim. Most point guards are close to 6'. I'm not saying the guy has all the ability in the world but try it once in a while. Obviously whatever they've tried for most of the year hasn't worked (forget the Colorado game this week) so try something else. I've seen guys that have his abilities drive the ball and have some success.
Not trying to be a downer, but let's try something else here once in a while.

Re: Lucca and Boozer
Boozer is better served as the 6th man in IMO. Bring a source of energy to the 2nd unit. Plus some scoring ability. Give him all of Haluska's minutes.

I think this would give some other teams match-up problems. It would also give us some athleticism with Boozer, DG, and Craig in the game. I love Petey, but I am more and more of the opinion that his lack of athleticism is hurting the team. He doesn't make mistakes, but he doesn't make anything happen either. Teams can guard him for the 3, and don't have to respect him for anything else. I am not saying bench him, but it is time to cut back his minutes some. Switch Petey and Lucca and you may have something...
