Darius Stevens? That's too bad we don't have a mens team.

Re: Melvin Ejim
ya i agree i know alot of the girls on the womens team and they seem to have alot of fun. I know a mens team would be fun even if it was just a bunch of walk-ons

Re: Melvin Ejim
Why doesn't Ejim have any stars or rating? Did a quick google on him and rivals does not have any stars attached to his name. I was assuming with how everyone has talked about him he was at least a top 150 kid...what gives?

Re: Melvin Ejim
I thought the other guy was top priority? What if both commit does that mean HB is out?

Remember, he was in Canada until last year, so he hasn't got that much exposure.

He seems to be able to coach post players, which is no surprise since he was a post player himself. Jiri made a lot of improvement from his junior to senior years, Brackins has made tons of improvement from last year. We have a quick learner in Hamilton, and I really think he will get much much better based on what I know of his work ethic and the fact that he has GMac as his coach. I don't know much about Pomlee other than he's a hell of an athlete, so hopefully between him and hamilton, and then dykstra and possibly kelm we could have a decent post presence. I still would feel a lot more comfortable if we could get another true center.

Re: Melvin Ejim
Wonder if Ejim knows Vanderbeeken from playing in Canada. Hopefully Jamie explains to him that he needs to take certain classes or the NCAA won't allow him to play.

Ejim's at Brewster, and they are very aware of everything NCAA their, so he won't have any trouble getting in. FWIW, Harvard is recruiting him really hard because of his superior grades, although I don't think they can offer an athletic scholarship.

If by some sort of divine miracle that actually happened, I would think we would someway somehow make room for them. I don't know how because I don't know the scholarship situation, but I don't think we have much, if any, room for both.

I am betting there will be spots for all 3.
