pulls a body out of the post to free up room for brackins
and he can make some shots We don't run any plays that allows Ham to post up. He usually is at the top of the key trying to pass it in to Brackins. This is the 1 thing I hate about our offensive sets is that our bigs spend way too much time away from the basket handling the ball.

Re: JVB or Ham
I agree try both, get Lucca out for now because his defense isn't good enough to keep him in over JVB and since he isn't currently hitting doesn't give us much.

People wanted Lucca to start early on because he was playing well, now that the move has been made, people are ready to switch it again because he hasn't been playing well.
People were ready for Ham to start over AT because Ham did some nice things off the bench.
I don't really care who starts -- it is about who is getting the minutes and who is playing the most important minutes. Right now it is Jamie, as it should be.

Re: JVB or Ham
I would agree with that mwitt, but not everybody thinks about it reasonably. It's best seen when looking at FB and the QB position. Like with Iowa this past season, the fans wanted to alternate starting QBs about every single game because the one on the bench was always the better option.
A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player. -

I remember last year, when Rahshon was having trouble scoring- people wanted him benched... never thought about the tremendous impact he had on the defensive end.

So true. I remember fans critcizing Clark and wishing Lucca was eligible and could take his spot. Wow...things that you wish for...

Re: JVB or Ham
I wish Hamilton, if we were in games, but we are always behind and have JVB in there for offense to try and comeback, and he does a good job of offense, lacks on D though. I think that's why Hamilton starts, because we are tied 0-0, then we fall behind and it's JVB and hardly any Ham. We completely go away from post except Craig when we fall behind doubule digits.

Re: JVB or Ham
Hamilton can start and play 20 minutes and JVB can come off the bench for 20 but take Thompson out of the equation.

Re: JVB or Ham
I like starting Ham and switching to JVB. It makes him that much more dangerous. They play about the same amount of minutes so does it really matter?
Now that MBB is back, do we still have to pretend that WBB matters?

Re: JVB or Ham
Both, just depends on matchups.

He hasn't hit more than half of his 3-point attempts since December 28th against Houston. When you're announced by commentators as "a real outside threat," you'd better start hitting SOMETHING.
