Just take a look at how many other 6'9" guys there are in D1 college basketball who are shooting 55% or better. NCAAź Weekly Rankings
We're all a little "too close" to Brackins and it's skewing our perceptions of his readiness for the NBA. It's all relative. Most of those 6'9 players have stars around them. They don't get doubled and are allowed to catch the ball in the paint. They also don't shoot threes.
CB gets doubled and has to shoot three's b/c our team gets very very little open looks. If he played on Kansas, he would not get doubled neither as much and would have not shot 33% last night.

As the color announcer said several times last night, after the entry pass is made, players should be cutting to the right or left of the lane, moving towards the basket, ready to receive the ball.
It drives me crazy.

CB is athletic, he can jump, he can block and he actually can hit some tough shoits for a big man. Not much else that cannot be fixed with a little work in the pros. It would be nice if he was 245 and that he could dribble a little bit more
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

I'm not going to go back through all the threads and posts but there are a significant number of ISU fans posting on here that think he should stay...because he needs to bulk up, because he needs to work on this or that, because he is too inconsistent, because he'll be a higher pick next year, because blah blah blah.
As some of us are trying to say...the NBA drafts on body type and potential, you can work on everything you need to work on and more while in the NBA more efficiently than you can while in college, and if he can be a lottery pick there really is no debate here.
A kid named Anthony Randolph (LSU) wasn't ready for the NBA and needed to bulk up and work on his game at this time last year and he ended up being a lottery pick.

I cheer for two teams, Iowa State and whoever is playing the hawkeyes.
