"Young man can score in a closet with no lights on"
ESPN commentator talking about Brackins and no doubt that he's a lottery pick. Thought the quote was hilarious.

I think that was Bardo, who broadcast the first KU game.
What has impressed me most about Craig is his interviews, he's a very poised and well spoken young man.
"Hey! I'm building something here!"

"Young man can score in a closet with no lights on" . . .
THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!

Whats that have to do with basketball?
Lottery pick in 2010. Reid Gettis said during the game he could be up for national player of the year next year.

More games, more reason for CB to bid us farewell in March, 2009.

He was the best player on the floor. That guy has some serious talent and upside. I would be shocked if he stayed. Players leaving early helps future recruiting because it's what all the great players want to do.

Re: "Young man can score in a closet with no lights on"
What would be even bigger, is that Mac turned him from a 4 yr player into a 2 year lottery pick. Everybody thought he'd be a pro eventually but nobody thought he'd be a lottery pick by his 2nd year.
Cyclone
Iowa State became the Cyclones after they leveled Northwestern in 1895. As the Chicago Tribune (9/29/1895) noted:

It Comes from Iowa and Devastates Evanston Town' -

I'm sorry, realism not welcome 'round these parts?
I hate being so down, but I've never had such a "meh" attitude about ISU athletics before, ever. But, it's very, very tough to look at it, especially MBB, and think it's going to turn around quickly.
That is, when not wearing the Cardinal & Gold glasses. With those on, well, we can still win the national title this year!
