Offensively, we dribble around, try to get an entry pass to CB, don't cut to the hoop, and stand around on the 3-pt line. Same offensive game plan as every other game, except we're sending more to the offensive glass since the Colorado game. If you've seen any other conference game we've played, you saw our offensive plan tonight. To me, it seems we've excecuted the same offensive game plan all year. Before you ask--I don't know what to do differently, except recruit better.
Game plan for putting at least a .500 B12 team on the floor? I'm not sure if it is the plan or execution, but it's hasn't looked too good yet. I think it just comes down to...We need another scorer.

Patience is a virtue, and some of you have either lost this virtue, or you never had it in the first place.
Carry on. Did we ever decide on a timeline for patience?

This forces the defense to have to collapse into the lane, leaving guys like Lucca and SP open for shots. I would figure a basketball god like yourself would be able to figure this out...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

Exactly. We missed our first 7 three point shots and many of them were wide open. CB was 7-21 from the field.
We got hot in parts of the game and ended up shooting almost 39% from 3.
We were 10-26 from 3 and only 8 of 30 from inside the arc for a total FG% of 32%. And we had them within 5 midway through the 2nd half. We had our chances because we played pretty well defensively. But we aren't going to win too many games shooting like we did.

Name calling--that always makes for better arguments and good discussion!
The way our offense is set up, I'm guessing WJ would be hanging around at the 3-pt line chucking up jumpers, not slashing and making defenders collapse into the lane. Turns out, WJ isn't here, so neither of us know.
All we know is that we have 2 B12 wins, and McD is poised to become the first coach since before Johnny Orr to have a declining conference record three years in a row.
He only needs to have 2 more conference wins to avoid that--let's hope he gets them. And then, hopefully he beats a ranked team, and that monkey can be off their backs.
