Yeah i commented on Cole lastnight to my wife. That guy has one ugly goofy shot. His free throws are even ugly. But I give him credit, they go in.

I agree...it's ugly but it works...they had to have tried to fix it, in his earlier playing years, and it didn't work for him.

If you want this season of ISU MBB in a nutshell here it is. I didn't get to listen to much of the game last night but I turned it on with about 5 minutes left. At about the 3 minute mark we were down 12, Vanderbeeken hit a three to get us within 9 after a great hustle play. On the other end Petey stole the ball and threw it to Haluska but he was out of bounds. At that point I said to my wife, I guarantee Collins hits a three right here. Sure enough Collins puts up a deep three and it goes in. If we would have stole that ball and went down and hit another shot to get withing 7 or 6 who knows. I am not saying we would have won the game but I can't tell you how many times this season a situation almost exactly like that has happened. So close but yet so far away.

I feel better now.

The way Collins can seemingly make any shot he wants to is so frustrating. The guy is a rally killer like no player I've ever seen. I've watched better players, more dominant players, like Beasley and Durant, but I've never seen a guy with the ability to KILL momentum like Collins.

ISU had a guy named Willoughby that used to do that same thing.

Amen to that. If the other team got on a roll, you knew he would just step up and hit a big three to kill it. The bigger the team, the more likely he would do it. That man was a money player.

Cartwright brought it over his head and shot all wrist.

Aldrich brings it off to the side and has a huge 90+ degree bend at the elbow. The shot has WAY too much unnecessary movement but I guess he has practiced it enough to become consistent...
