Re: Mickey D's All-Americans
It would have to be a ninja-commando type sneak, because we aren't listed on any of their top fives. -

HAHAHAHAHAHA..... Sure, we've got as good of a chance as anybody -
Re: Mickey D's All-Americans
4 McDonalds AAs for North Carolina. I feel sorry for them. It has to be tough to make the final four without ever even having to try. Similar to the NBA salary cap, the NCAA should have a McD AA cap. The distance between the elite teams and the mediocre teams continues to grow.

I would completely disagree with this. I think there is more parity in college basketball then ever. The difference between the best teams and middle of the road teams is less than what I would say it was 10, 20, 30, or 50 years ago...
There are more talented players who've been playing their whole lives. There's no doubt some teams have vastly better talent than others but I would say the gap is closing if anything...

Re: Mickey D's All-Americans
So the #5 player in the nation has been academically ineligible all season and he's committed to Texas. Nice! It'll be interesting to see if he's a qualifier...
The #1 player in the nation, John Wall, is uncommitted but appears to have Baylor & Kansas high on his list.
Nice illustration of why it's tough for ISU to compete in the Big XII!

Nice illustration of why it's tough for ISU to compete in the Big XII! Well, Baylor just hired Wall's AAU coach as "Director of Player Development" or some other BS title. I suppose that helps recruiting a little bit. Look for KU to hire his dad in the next week or so. -

North Carolina must be having an off year. Only 4. Roy is being lazy.

OH year and Demarcus Cousins is clearly Iowa States to lose.

Re: Mickey D's All-Americans
Some of those players get in because they are going to UNC. The Wear twins are a perfect example, most places don't have them ranked anywhere near the top 25. Stephenson is visiting KU this weekend. Wall is still listing KU, but Baylor hired his AAU coach so I think it's only a matter of time before he commits there.
Parity comes from early entry and the fact that there are so many talented players. Currently KU has 4 players in the NBA that didn't play in the McD's game. Brackins is a perfect example of the type of talent that is out there that never played in the McD's game. KU has plenty of players that did play in that game that never panned out.

Re: Mickey D's All-Americans
Yeah why are the Wear brothers playing. THey are rated 68 and 69. It should be the top 24 players rated by Scout and Rivals. That is my opinion.
