I can't follow blindly anymore. I could buy that for a few years, but the lack of results has ended that. I have been finding other outlets that peak my interest. Excellent. Then why are you on Cyclone FANatic?

Re: Game Day Thread vs. Kansas State
Back from the game and have had a chance to chill out a bit...
As everyone knows, we can't shoot. Many open looks, especially Lucca, but we can't drain 'em. If I remember right, we were 2-16 or something like that from the three line. Shouldn't we expect to shoot better than this on our home court? We hit two of the threes that were open looks and we win.
What kind of a play was that right before half? Same to close out the end of the game. Why can't this team/coach draw up in bound plays that work (perhaps it only seems that they never work as I can only remember one with Pete before half some games ago)? We always seem to go long at crunch time.
After a time out at the 1:40 mark or so, and KSU with the ball is Pete in rather than a better defender?
So frustrated with another loss. Many empty seats in my section (113). I hope apathy isn't setting in.

Question. Was Kemp the biggest pansy to ever set foot in Hilton?

Re: Game Day Thread vs. Kansas State
sounds like ol greggy boy should start leaving iowa and go to new york or california and recruit some street boys that know how to
play basketball. get the eustachy playbook out and bring in some players that play like tinsley did and our last good guard combo, stinson and his mate.

So tell me how that is pollard's fault? I would say Pollard is partially responsible for not understanding how many players would jet once Morgan was fired, thus putting the program back at ground zero. McDermott himself has also said that he underestimated how important recruiting was at this level so that is something obviously not addressed as well as it should have been. Other than that I don't think any fault can be put on him.

Maybe Cyclone fans are too grateful for whatever "product" is being put out there...
Now tell me if you were athletic director Pollard, why would you ever make a change when 12,000 fans show up to watch a team that is at best 10th place in the big 12 conference....
Until fans stop buying tickets there will be NO CHANGE IN BASKETBALL & you can go to the bank with that one!!!!!!!
