How long til boozer hustles lucca outta his startin spot

No, that first statement is asinine. The other 4 have not shown 1/8 the shoting ability Lucca put on display earlier in the year, with the possible expection of Wes.

To say Lucca is in a slump right now is a gross understatement but he will not get his groove back sitting on the bench. Boozer has had no problem coming off the bench so far and Lucca needs to get his confidence back. What is the point of shaking things up now that the season is all but over? Let things go like they are, maybe give Boozer some more minutes, but don't make a big change that is going to have lingering effects on a player.

The reason you put Lucca on the bench and Boozer out there is because Boozer is scoring when he comes off the bench, where Lucca is starting and not scoring. Plus, Lucca will still come off the bench and get some minutes like Boozer is now.

Wow. My point is GMac's job is to do what is needed to help the team get some wins. Sending Lucca out there repeatedly to "end the slump" is killing our team's already small chances to win.

What's wrong with him getting minutes as the 6, 7 or 8 guy to try to get his shot back? I'm not saying bench him the whole game but starting him continually seems like a stretch to say the least.

No but they shoot like **** during games. I guess if the sarcasm pirate isn't there, no one gets it, do they...

One game he played 10 min. had 7 points and 6 boards

They played basically the same amount of time last game. Some of you act like its a huge injustice that Lucca starts over Boozer when really they played the same against K-State.

Boozer - 19 minutes
Lucca - 20 minutes

Boozer has been earning more and more minutes while Lucca's minutes are declining.

Do you think maybe GMAC is thinking that Lucca WILL shoot his way out of the slump. If they are both getting the same amount of minutes the start is irrelevant. How many points did Boozer have Saturday? Oh, thats right, 3, 2 less than Lucca. He did have 7 rebounds to Lucca's 3 but I trust GMAC has a plan.
