Granted nobody else gets seperation and that makes it hard for him to get rid of the ball, but it is either DG's fault for dribbling to much or McD's fault for running an offense so awful I think it's somewhere in between...

How is that darker? Tearing down the goalposts may have been a little over the top, but we did at least beat Baylor back then. And even if we weren't relevent in football, we were in basketball. I don't think we have ever been at a lower point when you consider the major sports combined. What are we going to do in 2009, tear down the goalposts when we beat North Dakota State?
Gene Smith, 1993-2000. 7 years, 6 NCAA's, 1 bowl game. Revenue sports postseason participation 50%. Good. Bruce Vandevelde, 2000-20005. 5 years, 4 bowl games, 2 NCAA's, 2 NIT's. Postseason participation 80%. Better. Jamie Pollard, 2005-. 4 years. 1 bowl game, 0 NCAA's, 0 NIT's. Postseason participation: 13%. The next big step. I just want to be relevant again as well.

Everything else will follow in suit. Can you cite the reasons fans have actual, viable reason to have faith right now?
I'm really struggling to find 'em and I thought that would never happen.

we can try, but i'm pretty sure they are those indestructable ones now. i'd sure give it a go though-that was a blast throwing them things into the lake!

FB wish: To belong on the same field as every team in the conference.
MBB wishes: 1. Defend Hilton. 2. A coach that gives the fan base hope even in down years by pulling an occasional upset and bringing a smart, passionate and inspired team to the gym.

If you want to be fair, I'm pretty sure Mac did not draw up a play for Brackins to shoot a 3 point shot from about 5 feet behind the line with a guy in his face and 10 seconds left in game. I would probably bet the play was looking for Lucca or Petey to take a 3 and Craig was only meant to draw the defense and make a pass.

Re: Wishlist for Cyclone Sports
Football wish list: Improvement in the record, 1 upset, and legitimately being in every game. Also, no more ridiculous, bizarre meltdown losses (like Toledo in '07 or nearly every loss in the '04-05 campaigns).
Basketball wish list: Restore Hilton Magic. This won't happen until we beat a ranked team there. So far, McDermott has not only failed to beat a ranked team in 3 years, but he's failed to beat a team that was more talented.

Just win baby! I'll still be there for all the (well, most) games regardless.
