ESPN has Gilstrap as #26 in his class, and #2 Juco.

That's pretty impressive. I hope he's as good as everything I've been hearing.

I really wish he could be here for more than one year.

I think we got VERY lucky with Gilstrap despite him only having one year.
We missed out on Reese, Buckys, and Farmer. Now Gilstrap ranks higher than all of those guys.
Did anyone else notice that Colvin dropped slightly according to ESPN?

Wost case scenario: Brackins leaves, Gilstrap doesn't end up here and Colvin has a freshman year like Buckley's. I really hope this doesn't end up happening.

He could get granted a second year. He lost a year due to injury so he might get one more back. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

When you graduate high school, you get 5 years to play 4 of eligibility. Next year is #5 for him I believe. Say your prayers

I wonder if Gilstrap has called up any of the current team (such as Brackins) to chat/try to convince the guy that help is on the way in the coming year....

Lets just hope he ends up in Ames next year and CB stays in Ames.
