Did anyone notice that the loudest Hilton got tonight was when Eik hit his three in the first half? It's good to see a freshmen contribute toward POSITIVE momentum on our behalf.

Has it come down yet? Him and Boozer put a loootttttt of air under the ball. He knew it was in as soon as he shot it.
I was surprised he took that shot. He's been pretty passive in conference play and it was well contested. He needed to hit that shot and I'm glad for him.
It was a huge shot!
Also noticed he was giving out flowers before the game, i'm guessing it was his mother.
He had that awesome pass to Brackins then made that huge shot that everyone knew was going in, i did anyway lol. It was a remainder why some of us still think he is going to be a major piece of the puzzle.
I remember that play and at first I was really peeved at DG....I remember thinking that a good B12 guard would have gotten to the rim on that fast break, as it turns out we got 3 points out of it....but I hope colvin and buckley can really help us put more pressure on a defense. great to see wes hit a shot.
It was great to see Eik, Buck, Booze running the guard spots with Brackins in lst night. Good future shot of cyclone basketball. I like these 3 in the 2nd unit. They have to play together a lot in practice so it should translate well in game situations.
They looked extremely comfortable playing together, and that great to see!
I think the only ovation that might have compared with Eik's shot would be when Boozer went for a rest in the first half.
On his senior day in a couple of years, Hilton is going to go crazy!
Eik's 3 came in transition, and that's where he can get some open looks if we become a running team. But once in our offense I just don't see him contributing much with that strange jump shot. Hope I'm wrong.
Eik needs to watch tape of that little guy from oklahoma state....if that guy can get his shot off, so to should Eik.
My favorite part of that shot? Nothing but net and it caused the bottom of the net to give that hot pop back up above the rim. Loved it.
It really was a great shot by Eik. The crowd really responded very well to it. Good win last night....the Clones needed it! I just want this team to finish well for the season....heck, get a road win at either A&M or Nebby would be a nice touch too.
Just end on a positive note....and set GMac up for his 4th...and extremely important year.
