18-10
Hawaii, Drake, SDSU and CU
I think they hurt more now than they did when they happened.
Would you be happy with this record even though we were still 3-10 in conference play? I'd take it.

Re: 18-10
At CU shouldn't be considered a coulda win. We rarely win there period.
The other 3 we should have won but we usually throw out at least one bad loss in non-conf. so at best I think we should have split those games.

Re: 18-10
I would have bet the house that we would have beat SDSU. I put that right in there with Tinsleytown and Hampton.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -
Re: 18-10
KSU at home was definitely a winnable game, if we could only score more than 50.......

Re: 18-10
I was thinking last night about all the close games we have won. My mind has drawn a blank. When we win, we win by 10 or more and usually we are up by more until the last few minutes.

Re: 18-10
I'm not sure why everyone is complaining about the outside shot when we haven't had one for about 10 games. I know it got old during the non-conference but we desperately need it in conference. I knew if we were to win last night that we would need a lot of production from outside, instead of Craig going for 30 points and 15 rebounds. When he starts to take over, our other guys just stand around. It's not his fault, that's just what happens. But last night our guards seemed much more involved in the game.
I agree we realistically should have split those 4 losses (Wins=SDSU & Hawaii, Losses= CU & Drake) just because we knew there would be let downs. But those teams have proven to be not good at all.

Re: 18-10
Yep, in order for us to win games, it has to be a TEAM effort, not a Brackins effort. Last night we saw our TEAM play well, and guess what? Brackins had just another "average" game. It's not a coincidence that we only win conference games when we hit a good clip of 3's.

Re: 18-10
Watching the NU vs Texas AM game last night, they called the ISU loss in Ames a BAD loss for NU. I was offened by that and turned the channel after that comment. I guess I'm still living back in the Fizer Era when I expected to win every HOME game, especially vs terrible programs like NU, KSU, and CU.

Well, from Nebraska's perspective, it WAS a bad loss - one that could possibly keep them out of the NCAA Tournament.
Here's to giving them another bad loss at their place following giving aTm a bad loss at their place as well...
Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice? Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this. -

I've never heard any accusations, but I've always quietly wondered. Jamal Tinsley just doesn't miss that layup. Anyway, it was 8 years ago now, I rarely think about such things anymore...

Of course it was bad for them. SURPRISE, we're crap this year! NU and KSU aren't playing like terrible programs right now. I'll agree that CU is garbage, but the other two have better programs than us at this point. I'd love to be struggling to remain mid-pack in the Big 12 with a shot at the Big Dance like both of them.
