Most improved player
From the start of this season to now.
IMO, I think it's gotta be Boozer. I know Craig has been really good, but all of that was expected to happen. No one really knew what we'd get from Boozer.
He's not lighting the world on fire, but he's been a great "junkyard dog" out there for us - getting key boards, making big plays on defense and the occasional points on a put-back (see key boards).
I remember the book on him was he didn't have the skills to compete, just wanted to shoot the ball and his attitude needed work.
Certainly has made some major strides in those areas and could be a key role player for us. He's not nearly as athletic as Clark was, but he's starting to give us that type of play that reminds me of some of the things Clark did for us.

Garret. He's going to realize he'll lose his spot if he doesn't push it this summer.
Remember that stressed spelled backwards is desserts!

Re: Most improved player
I agree. Chuck has been making hustle plays all season for us and he has been one of the few things I look forward to seeing over this rough stretch.
While Boozer won't ever be as athletic a player as Rahshon, he is a much much better ball handler, which is a necessity for the 1-3 under McDermott.
I'm looking forward to continue watching the kid give it his all every time he hits the floor for the next two seasons

Re: Most improved player
I'd say Hamilton or Boozer.
Walking on water is easy. Just do it in December when it's frozen. -

I love Booz as a hustle player, and he has come on, but I would have to say most improved from start of the season to now, assuming we leave out CB, goes to JVB or Ham.

Re: Most improved player
Actually, IMO, I think JVB has show the most improvement over the course of the season.

Re: Most improved player
Wes Eichmeyer. Did you guys miss the 3 the other night. He had not hit one the whole big 12 season. Then he hit's one. I am not sure of the percentages but he has improved about 300% as far as I can tell. He tripled his scoring average in one game. Nobody else can claim that.
I would actually say Boozer though.

Re: Most improved player
I think JVB is the most improved since the start of the season. In fact I would say he has improved more over a couple months than Alex Thompson has in the past 5 years, unfortuantely.
From last years' players, I would say Booze is the most improved, mainly his defense and rebounding.

Re: Most improved player
I would say Pete! He has really improved his defense this year, and is playing a lot better now that he doesn't have to run the point. A close second would be Booze as I just love his energy and rebounding that he brings.

I think overall Petey is the most improved since last year.

Pomlee, we just haven't seen him play yet.

Re: Most improved player
From last year to this year Brackins but over the course of the season JVB.
-
Re: Most improved player
Most improved over this season goes to JVB I think.
-
Re: Most improved player
I know it's the obvious pick...but Brackins was getting schooled on defense every game, and grabbing only 4boards a game at the beginning of the season...
If you would've told me we'd be so concerned with him leaving after this year at that point, I would've thought, "who's bad advice is he listening to?".
