Going to Lincoln?

Anyone in the Omaha area need a ride to the game in Lincoln on Wednesday night? A couple of us are headed down there and we've got room for a couple more. If interested, PM me and we can work out the details.

Never been to a game there before, but I'm guessing the crowd won't be too spectacular. Can we tickets there or should we get them in advance? TIA.

I would not pay for tickets if I were you. Someone will give theirs away.

I can tell you what will happen. ISU gets a 10 point first half lead, crumbles and the coaching staff cannot regroup. Nebraska will come out on a 12-2 run to start the second half, be up by 25 with 10 minutes to go in the game. Eick makes a 3 pointer with 1 minute to go to make his 'homecoming' special.

I agree. Although I don't even see ISU with a 10 point lead in the first half. As much as I like to see the Clones beat NU whatever the sport, I see this as a husker blow out from the opening tip-off to the end. Hope I'm wrong.

Both work just fine for a mid-week game. Since they're winning more than expected , you might want to expect a few more fans.

Now that I think about it, I'd probably go ahead and buy them now.

There should be plenty of tix available. I would try to scalp for some good tix or buy them at the door.

NU fans are the biggest bunch of BANDWAGON fans I have ever seen. Remember to wear GOLD. It really makes a statement when you see a bunch of patches of GOLD!!!!!!!

We wear our Cardinal and Gold sweatshirts. They love that.

No, Cyclone Alley will not be taking a bus to Lincoln. Our "road trip" for the year was to the Mizzou game.

I agree! Nebraska will get off to a sluggish start and fart around in the beginning. ISU will lead something like 15-6...then Nebraska's quickness and athleticism will be too much. ISU will go several minutes without a field goal. The start to the 2nd half will be a quick flurry by NU. The game will start to get out of hand. Then, you're right, the coaches let 'em play through it and get overwhelmed and Eick gets in to make a meaningless 3 in front of family and friends. And there you have it...another winless season on the road in the conference.
