I know he took an unofficial visit earlier in the year. He was even shooting baskets at half time with the ball boys.

Re: Darnell Harris
He's a 6'7" 1/2. We're recruiting him at the 3. He has inside skills, as he used to play the 4, and also sometimes plays the 2. He' s multi-dimensional, and a great shooter. He's extremely long, and, in the words of legendary coach Tom Diener, and I quote, "The best passer I have ever coached." And that's as a sophomore in high school. Defensively, he needs to put in a little more effort, but he has all the tools to become a great defender. He's really athletic, but isn't a great ball-handler. He will definitely need to bulk up in college. The only reason right now that he doesn't have an offer is that he has had some grade issues in the past. He wants to make a decision before the end of his sophomore year so he can concentrate on academics. We are in front for his service, followed closely by Wisconsin. Look for him to make a decision in the next few months. Also, fwiw,I've heard from many, many people high up in Wisconsin basketball circles that when it's all said and done, he will be a top 50 player nationally. He has an extremely high ceiling.
Basically, I can say only good things about his offensive game and ceiling. However, he needs to get to work in the classroom and hit the weight room. I really wouldn't be suprised if he ended up a Cyclone.

Re: Darnell Harris
When I saw him he looked 6'7 1/3. Not quite 6'7 1/2

Re: Darnell Harris
I am now going to start introducing myself as 6'1 1/2. My wife thinks I have a sweet stroke also.
In all serious. Harris would be a good tandom with Ejim, Dykstra, with Colvin bringing the ball up and eventually with Page and Staten. Hopefully Gessell as well.

Re: Darnell Harris
We have multiple openings for 2s and 3s and maybe 4 if he goes.
Looking forward to CFH magic for the next bball season, Georges style. -

1-Chasson, Colvin, Kadima and Buckley (A high 4-star, Low 4-star, future 4-star, and a very solid plaer) JMO, that would be the greatest accumulation of talent at one position in ISU history
2.-Wes E, Christopherson, , HB (Hopefully Also, recently he's said he wants to be a 2 in college.)
3- Ejim, Harris
4-Dykstra, Kelm/Dendy, and LA
5-Hamilton
Some of this is speculation, but that would be a very, very good team, with the majority of our scoring coming from the 2/3, with toughness and rebounding inside.
Note: I didn't put this in order of who would start, I just listed them.
