Anyone remember Tyrone Appleton???

I wonder if he's regretting his decision to go to Kansas? I know he's on a team that will be in the tourney - but, he's not playing a lot and with Collins, Little, Morningstar ahead of him, he will have spent two years at KU with little to no playing time. I wonder how that helps his game????

I know it was down to ISU and KU, he obviously picked the evil empire....

However, looking at his season numbers, i wonder what this kid thinks about that decision....

19 games appeared - zero starts, 38 total minutes of playing time in 29 games.

Had he chosen ISU instead, he would have started day one and imo would have taken a lot of pressure off of DG and CB. A versatile guard that can play the 1 or 2, he would have been exactly what this team needed - another talented and versatile guard, and oh by the way a great defender!!!!

I hope that Colvin comes in ready to contribute because we need him very badly. Would not be surprised to see the following lineup:
PG - DG starting, Buckley & Colvin getting minutes
SG - Christopherson starting, Eik, Lucca, Boozer getting minutes
SF - Gilstrap starting, Lucca, Boozer getting minutes
PF - Brackins starting, Vanderbeken & Pomlee getting time
C - Hamilton starting , Vanderbeken & Pomlee getting minutes

Rumored mann will transfer, we lose petey, Thompson, Haluska.

No offense KMAC, but this has been brought a dozen times in the last 2 months alone.

It all depends on how much value you put on being part of a winning/championship team. If KU wins the Big XII Tourney this year or NCAA next year, he probably won't regret it one bit...

I missed them Helgo - i hadnt seen any that talked specifically about Tyrone - my fault!!!!

His move at the end of our game proved to me that he's a scrub willing to put up any shot for his own benefit to get in the books in scrub time and not a player, willing to dribble out the clock with some class.

I disagree. I'm sure he will enjoy the experience of the tourny and everything but you really think a guy that could have had a chance at starting and at the very least seen significant minutes at his 2nd choice school would not regret going to a school were he has only played 38 minutes all year?!

I would say anyone who does not regret a decision like that is not the kind of competitor we need anyway.

Yeah, but the guy is is practicing against KU's starters everyday, who are most likely the best guys at their position in the conference. That's how he gets better without playing many/any minutes.

There are other factors too that could easily play in.....maybe he didn't want to be in an offense that is stationary and just passes the ball around the perimeter.
