The game is on the YES network? Has anyone tried to watch it on an older TV, you know preHD and prewidescreen? I just wonder it the they are using old tech from all the way around and new TVs cannot handle that well.

WOI should be sold back to Iowa State. I sometimes wonder if their local news is done in a rental storage garage on the East side of Des Moines. John Walters should have taken Heidi Soliday's place at KCCI instead of promoting Garman.

Oh, they look like crap cause they are using stand def cameras and we see the game on a HD big screen which just amplifies the crappy picture to our eyes. It probably looks okay on a std def 19inch tv.

I agree with the point about the newer tvs it looking worse. I have a normal, non-widescreen, non-HD tv. The picture doesn't look all the great, but it's OK.

My buddy has a 46 inch widescreen HD tv and it looks much worse. Since the newer TVs are meant to point out all the details, I think it magnifies the crappyness of standard-def.
