I just think WOI in general looks like crap. Their news looks low budget for example. I just think they are a station that can't afford to spend anything great on technology.

Unfortunatley, they are our affiliate TV station...

It was noticeably bad back in the pre-HD days. It hasn't gotten any better and now going from an HD game to that is so hard to watch.

I watched the A&M game in Iowa City last Saturday, and that quality was awful, too. It looked like the game was being shown on a webcast and then someone was holding a camcorder to record the computer screen.

They look like crap from Sioux City affiliates too.

Is this game on the Direct TV sports package tonight? I usually watch on the YES network or ALT and get a slightly better picture.

All the conference games are on ESPN Full Court and the quality (standard def) is fine.

Does KCAU still air the ISU games in Sioux City? They're owned by the same company as WOI and at least at one time had the same general manager, so it wouldn't surprise me to learn it looks like crap there too.
