Re: If you are complaining, you're not a fan
Notice how fan and fanatic are different words. Being fanatical about firing someone does not make you a fan of the team you want the person fired from.

Re: If you are complaining, you're not a fan
If people are still complaining then that is very positive because that means some people still care. I stopped complaining because I stopped caring. With all of the turnover in coaches and players I have lost interest. I had season tickets for 15 years and used to tape every game on the VCR and watch it again. Now I will watch if I don't have anything going on or better to do.

Fan is short for fanatical.

Regardless if you agree with the decisions made during the game or not, or who has been brought in as coach we are not going to fire Mac. Simple as that, we cannot afford to fire another coach and will not do so. The economic downturn our country if facing right now plus the turnover of the football coachin staff there isn't a nickle in the pot to get rid of a coach.
So stop the complaining and focus on rooting your school win or lose! You don't have to support the coach, but ******** about him will get you nowhere. The only person who could complain is a man willing to pay for the change.
So go ahead and rip on. I would think more could be said after a win or loss at this point in the season. But isn't the fan's/media job to second guess the team? Expectations come with a price, if they aren't met, their will be some ripping of the coaching staff and other offices...see Bill Callahan, Tyrone Willingham and Matt Doherty. The ripping comes from the loyals being dissatisfied with the product being put on the playing field/court.

Winning NC's then a couple of down years, a couple of COACHING CHANGES later and mediocrity has set in. Not unlike our mens BBall program now. Not gonna change the inevitable bumps in the road back to success. Patience is a virtue and pride is a sin.
