    They were saying that he was one of isu's best walk-ons. Are there any others who may be better or is he really the best?

    Hornacek was a walk-on with a promise of a scholly in year 2. A notch above your typical walk on. Petey was a pure walk-on thrown into the fray.

    Didn't Petey end up getting a scholarship though last year due to all the people that left when Mac got here? I was thinking that Petey did get a scholarship.

    I have a man crush on Petey... And he is probably one of the best. Not the best though. I think we all know who it is.

    If we didn't have all the player leaving when GMac arrived, there is a chance no one would of know of Petey.

    I think Marc Urquart was a walk-on as well. He didn't play much until his senior year. But I believe he is the first Cyclone with a triple-double. Now he's a medical doctor.

    We wanted to give Hornacek a scholarship from day one, but we didn't have any available so he came in as a walk-on.
