Brackins declaring????

I was just running errands listening to KXNO's pre-game for UNI, and during commercial break Jon Miller was on talking about Brackins officially putting his name into some pre-draft list, and going to work out at some pre-draft camps. Is this old news, new news or no news, as it seemed like it was part of an ad for the Jon Miller show. Not trying to spread a rumor or anything like that, just trying to figure out whats up.

Its a promo they are running. I have heard it before. He is ripping on ISU fans.

Even if he plans to stay he will probably do the predraft workouts. The NCAA allows a player to go through those without signing with an agent and pull their name before a certain date to keep their eligibility. It is in his best interest to do this whether he plans to leave or not. It'll give him a good idea what he needs to work on.

The big news will be if he decides to hire an agent. Anything before that is reversable.

Marty and Miller there both probably Hawkeye fans. There just mad because we actually have a good player on our team. So there trying to make us mad saying he's going pro. When we all know he's staying 1 more year.

Agreed! I'll eat your underwear if Brackins goes pro early . He is an awesome college player but way too undersized to bang in the pros. I think he may stay his entire career here and then go dominate the pro game.

He won't stay 2 more years unless an injury is involved.

CB will not be declaring anything soon, he will take his time attend pre-draft camps after the final four, seek advice from his family, friends, and coaches, then make a decision that is best for him and his family.

College underclassmen are allowed to attend certain pre-draft evaluation camps to help them with their decisions. Here is what the NCAA and NBA are working on....

I would be shocked if Brackins doesn't go to any pre-draft camps. Not because I think he plans to turn pro this year, but to get the exposure and the experience so he knows what to expect at them when he does go pro next year.

What camps are there even anymore? I don't think the Orlando pre-draft camp even exists anymore. He'll declare, work out for some teams, listen to some scouts, and find out exactly what he needs to know to make a good decision.
