DTV: Iowa State vs. Auburn

Has anyone else noticed on the DirecTV mega march madness commercial that one of the games they are showing on the bottom line is Iowa st vs Auburn?

At the it shows a scroll across the bottom line of all the games going and we're beating Auburn 78-77 with 1 second left in the second half in the 6 v 11 game.

Then right after that they show us beating Auburn 99-93 in the 7 v 10 game.

In both games we're the higher seed.

Is that just a huge coincidence or is there a Cyclone alum working for the marketing dept of DirecTV?

I can't find the video anywhere on line, but this link shows some screenshots from the commercial and the last picture has the ISU over auburn 78-77.

Also of note is it shows Iowa losing to Creighton in the 8 v 9 game in the second picture. There is no way that is all just a big coincidence. Me thinks there is a cyclone fan working for that ad agency.

Saw the 78-77 win. Wasn't sure what to make of it. Don't remember playing Auburn, but I am old and dumb.

Didn't see the second score. Will pay more attention next time.

Fizer/Tinsley .... at MSP in the MetroDome for round 1 of March Madness on our way to the Elite8. I was there... Great game.

I was there also. Iowa State 79 Auburn 60.

2nd round

Central Connecticut was 1st round

I bought a new HD DVR from Direct TV the other day and I noticed the picture on the box is the ISU bench errupting. Clint Varley was one of the players.

It seems like it's been a long time, but it really hasn't been that long since we were a powerhouse team, and it seems like the majority of the country believes we will get back there again.

Gonna have to look close pretty fast. I only saw the second one with the DVR paused. It's in the bracket right after they show the first score. Same bracket as Iowa losing to Creighton.

So did my aunt when she got an HD DVR. Guess DirecTV likes us.
