Sullivan Interview
Excellent interview with Jake Sullivan today on M&M. Hopefully they will make a podcast available for those unable to listen.

Re: Sullivan Interview
What did he say about HB?
“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.” -
Re: Sullivan Interview
He mentioned that HB has made 2 unofficial visits to Duke. I have no doubt in my mind that HB is leaning that way but it's early. He also didn't expect a decision until after his official visits in the fall.
For the Jake haters...I don't get it. Jake was cool.

Re: Sullivan Interview
Sullivan basically came out and said that it is b/w Duke and Florida for his services. Wherever he goes to be an assistant is where Barnes will go as well.
He then went on to say that he hates Greg McDermott and wishes nothing but bad things on ISU athletcis
Edit: This is full of sarcasm

Re: Sullivan Interview
Jake was very respectful and didn't tell us how he is still ****** at Coach Mac. He had kind words for Doug McDermott and said he will probably end up as a mid-major caliber player.

Re: Sullivan Interview
Jake said this was the first time he has seen Dykstra play and was impressed. Said Colvin is the real deal and will definitely have an impact next year. He also said Iowa State could be pretty good in the next couple of years with the talent they have coming in (Especially if Brackins stays). Kenny added especially with Barnes. They discussed the talent in the state etc. They should have Jake on every couple of weeks. He does a really good job. I pray Barnes comes to ISU, it would just be huge (Obviously).

Why would he ****** at him?
He also said Doug may be the most improved player in the state over the past year and a half. And that GMac is well qualified to know where Doug will fit in best (being a coach at DII, a mid major and now major conference).
And that Colvin "is the read deal", will see "significant minutes" next year as a frosh.
Even made the "tempted to read far too much into it statement" of (paraphrase) "with Colvin, Dykstra and HARRISON, if Brackins stays they'll be pretty good in a few years"

BTW, although Jake has commented on GMac's slow style of play, the two are far from enemies. After all, GMac has hired Jake to coach his own son.

I remember alot of people being up in arms about Jake saying that he has to have Harrison's best interests in mind, above any loyalty to ISU. And the GMac's slower play and ball control offensive style wouldn't be the best fit for HB.
Is that what got translated into "Jake has a beef with GMac"?
