Even so, with all due respect, I think he'd be 3rd string next year if Colvin is as advertised.

People love the kid because it's the only person we've put on the floor the last two years that you could expect to bust his balls every second he was on the floor. He didn't deserve to be playing in the Big XII Conference, but he earned his playing time. Intelligent player and respectable human being. What more do you want? I don't just like Petey the basketball player, Petey the human being is a pretty decent guy.

He's the best 3pt shooter by percentage we got. Same goes for FT.
That's across 31 games. BTW - he's also the only player to have started every game.
And he's pure hustle.
Easy to see why people (with a brain) like the kid.
Woo hoo.

That's 31 across 31 games.
Woo hoo. 6.6 points. 42% shooting. 3.8 rebounds. 0.7 steals. 2.7 assists.
You're right. Retire his number.

I think with this stuff, you'll find neither Larry nor Wayne won a whole lot more games here than Greg has. Minus guys named Tinsley and Fizer, Larry wasn't a .500 coach here. Not sure I understand you. Simple addition is telling me that Larry was 101-59 (Conf. 42-38) and Wayne was 55-39 (Conf. 22-26) those are certainly better numbers than Greg's 44-50 (Conf. 14-34). I could just as easily say that minus Brackins Greg isn't a .250 coach here. Originally Posted by IcSyU That 05-06 team should have been a LOT better than 16-14 with the front court it had. Larry was a great coach, he won back to back conference titles and made an elite eight appearance. Morgan cashed in on the capital left over from the first three, but he also brought in some great talent and won a few tough games. I am waiting for Greg to get it going...to show us that there is life in the program.

You're right. Retire his number. Nobody said retire his number Einstein.
You asked why people like him.
He's done more on this squad than anyone other than Brackins.
Now go tuck yourself in.

You're right. Retire his number. Why do you have to hate the kid so much? All he did is give ISU his all, sure he isnt All Conference, but he is a team leader. He is also in the top 10 of made 3s at ISU. The kid has no business playing Big 12 ball but he started 67 games and did a good job for ISU.
