Re: Charles Boozer
I have no idea what is going on with his PT. He was arguably the most improved player. Having him leave would just be another shot to the groin in what has been a long string of them. I'm shocked we've got anything left to kick.
If he did something to get benched, shame on him. But if he didn't play because he's leaving, well, I can't say I blame him.
ISU MBB is one helluva debacle right now. Period.

Re: Charles Boozer
At least he did not turn the ball over much or at all so I was surprised to not see him, I hope he stays I like the Booz!! Hell I hope everyone stays.

Re: Charles Boozer
In my mind Boozer should have gotten more of Lucca's playing time. I would have played either Haluska or Boozer before Lucca. Both played much better D.

Re: Charles Boozer
Since we were not playing for titles or a NCAA berth, we needed to be playing for the future. That means giving our freshman, especially Boozer, valauble minutes. Peterson, Haluska and No. 10 should have been on he bench at least half of the game.

Re: Charles Boozer
Don't leave Boozer!! I really hope he stays around, he was definitely one of my favorite players this year.

Re: Charles Boozer
Boozer is the backup QB for Iowa State basketball. He is better in the eyes of the fans than he truly is.
The less you play, the less mistakes you make, the better you are. Right?

Re: Charles Boozer
Sometimes I wonder what is going on in the coaching staffs head, I mean you want someone out there that gives you energy Boozer did that. I thought Charles put in some damn good minutes controlled himself well and contributed the right way. I like Lucca, but he is just to slow right now and Boozer was healthier through the course of the year. Bad coaching? I cannot say, mind boggling? yes.

The less you play, the less mistakes you make, the better you are. Right? When the starting QB is Lucca, it makes the backup look pretty good.

Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that. ~ George Carlin
There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves Orcs. ~ John Rogers -

+1
I get tired of fans that believe coaches don't utilize the players that give them the best chance to win.
I'm sure GM is feeling a bit of pressure, so to presume that he is trying to sabotage a better player at the expense of winning is ludicrous.

Re: Charles Boozer
But when someone else is making mistakes and not really pulling their weight why not bench them to put someone in there who can and give them a chance, hell it certainly would not have hurt this year anyway. Less mistakes because of less playing time is right, but more minute guys were making more mistakes than they should have been. Plus he is more athletic which is what this team needed this year.
