Charles Boozer
Charles Boozer didn’t see any minutes in the last two games of the season. I also listened to the post-game show on the radio where Coach Rutter and GMac talked about what the team needed to do to be better next year. They seemingly talked about every single player except Charles Boozer. Is Charles Boozer coming back next year? -
Re: Charles Boozer
I wouldn't if I were him. He came in, worked his *** off on both ends of the floor and actually contributed. Then sat the bench for his accomplishments.

Re: Charles Boozer
He was clearly better than Haluska and played less. He was getting rebounds and doing everything good and got benched. I would go to drake if I were him.

Re: Charles Boozer
I think Charles is getting a raw deal. He contributes on both ends of the floor and gives the team spark.

Re: Charles Boozer
Wouldn't be surprised if he left. Hopefully he doesn't since he's one of the rare guys on our roster with a Big 12 body and 2 years experience.

Re: Charles Boozer
I'll admit I haven't watched ISU a whole lot this year, and I haven't seen Boozer get a lot of minutes. But I was at the NU game in Lincoln last week, and in the first half he played some solid minutes, had some good passes, handled himself pretty well. In general, he looked pretty confident out there, and (I thought) was definitely earning minutes for the 2nd half. Of course, then he didn't play at all in the 2nd half, at least I don't remember seeing him.
At the very least, he should have been getting Haluska's minutes, IMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go elsewhere. I know I'd be thinking about it.

Re: Charles Boozer
Reading how some of the "insiders" are starting to bash him, I would say he's gone...

Re: Charles Boozer
Boozer was the spark of the team this year. Everyone seemed to play better when he was on the floor. He was also one of the only players who really crashed the offensive glass. I agree that he got a raw deal this year, and think it would be really sad if he left.

Re: Charles Boozer
Boozer should have seen minutes. it is stupid he didnt play more the last 2 games more evidence of bad coaching, what is McD thinking about? should leave and go where his talent will be used

Is it possible that McDermott was pulling a Major League on us and punishing players for good play?

Re: Charles Boozer
Boozer was an aggressive 3-guard that hit the boards hard and I loved that since no one else was doing that from his position. I hope he sticks around. He's good and like his energy!
