Cyismydog: I always enjoy what you bring, and I don't want you to stop. The 100% blind and unabashed support just gets a little draining to me sometimes. We're not good right now, and I hope that changes. Sometimes I just get tired of the "everything is great" crap and I'm just not seeing those results on the court.
That said, again, thanks for what you bring here.
Think of it this way: There's no way you get the NY guys unless you're willing to pony up some $$, in most cases. In Chicago, it's more of if you make a good impression on their parents. Sometimes, AAU coaches in Chicago weild a lot of influence, the staff will talk to them, but not go after the recruit through them specifically.

So what are you saying about coaches that recruit NY? I have a hard time thinking Chicago is much different than NY. Maybe a little since we are getting players from there and Mac is running a clean program.

For the record...I've never said everything is great. Our program is in the crapper. I'm just optimistic things are being put in place to get us out of it.
