However, I think he'd probably be attending more ISU games if it weren't a nearly 2 hour drive from the east side of CR versus a 30 minute drive to Iowa City. Just a thought...

Re: Marcus Paige
The talent this state is producing is pretty impressive. Should be a great game tonight but go Ames Hi!

Re: Marcus Paige
Who in their right mind would ever go to Iowa to play basketball? The future doesn't look bright and the recruits are not big ten talent. UI needs to invest in the bball team and the facilities. -

Just thought I'd let you know so as to spare them the need to keep posting over here to prove there dominance in all things. -

Clones had one of the best 5 players in their conference and still couldn't win more than 4 games. I still have hope for several guys that didn't show much this year.....but I assume the Hawks do too.

ISU upgrades talent next year in two positions. Iowa upgrades next year at what position. 2010 recruits advantage ISU. It's all about the future. This year is over and was a down year.

Lickliter has proven he can coach and has beaten some pretty good teams during his two years at iowa. They return some pretty good players as well and are still recruiting for the 09 season. Jake Kelly is very good, peterson is strong and can get into the lane, Gatens is a great player, and Cole is just a beast. Iowa may not have the best athletes, but Lickliter puts them in position to win every game. Like it or not I think iowas future is very bright with Lickliter at the helm, but I also think ISUs looks even brighter.

You and the other McD apologists need to quit using this as an excuse. Do you know how many top programs go through this every year?
KU lost over 80% of their scoring from last year. Collins and Aldrich averaged 10.1 points per game between the both of them last year and they were the top returning scorers this year.
Long gone are the days of keeping players around for 4 years. I hate this saying, but it is true...you don't rebuild, you reload. It has to happen that quickly if you want to maintain an average or better program.

Re: Marcus Paige
Just getting ready to watch Marcus take on the Little Cyclones. Should be a good match-up with him against Boo-Boo from Ames. I'm anxious to see who Linn-Mar has trying to guard Harrison. After watching both teams play their first two games, I'm not sure that Linn-Mar has anyone that can keep up with Harrison's quickness, but they can match the heights. For the first time in the State Tournament, they will really miss Hutch tonight. It's a shame what happened, as I've been looking forward to this match-up for a few weeks now.
Anyway, back out for the second half of the 3A game.

Yes and they are also Kansas, the Juggernaut that eats up five star recruits and McDonald's all americans like they are candy.
take Nebraska, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, and Mizzou's leading scorers away and where would they be right now???
