These types of brain-dead posts are one of the reasons I have simply lost much desire to read or post in the vast majority of the threads here.

The lack of rational thought and then the "rebuttal threads" that pop up from it are about as bad as our athletic program.

As good of a kid as HB is, and he appears to be a GREAT kid. Picking a school for their business program realistically ranks about 10th on his list. He says it b/c it sounds like the right thing to say. In the end he will make his decision soley on basketball

Yes, it will come down to the basketball program, and HB's confidence in college's head coach leading him down a successful path both individually and team-wise.
That's why our 4-12 year is damaging.
HB is back working out very hard with Jake next week. No time off. Wonder what our team is doing???

How does the business schools like in Kansas or Florida compare to Iowa State????

Looks like the Iowa State Business school got a bit stronger per this article last week

Once you get out of the elites, they're all the same. I'd venture a guess that Iowa State is the #3 business school in Iowa (Iowa, UNI, ISU), but in the long run, they're all pretty much the same.

If he does choose somewhere else, I just hope he acknowledges us specifically, it is obvious we want/need him the most. He'll just be a flavor of the week until the next 5 star recruit comes to a Duke/UNC/Kansas...He's already got a lot of fans back here in Ames and all over the state who'd love to cheer for him in I-State cardinal and gold, but will cheer him no matter and wish him the best.
