IMO Brackins is not a lottery pick......this year. He is way too inconsistent in the fact that he can score 20 points in the first half and then be locked down in the second half. Brackins has some great skills. He can run the floor. But he needs to get stronger. He needs to be even more consistent and dominate against top flight opponents all the time. This isn't about having a great night against Kansas and putting up 42 against them. This is about getting the ball and able to score almost at will at the college level. That is my definition of lottery pick. Brackins is not there......yet. A lot of potential. But the possibility is there that Brackins isn't ready, gets drafted and might be playing in Europe. Brackins is not a first round lock.

Fact is, teams make adjustments. In the games when Craig scores 15-20 in the first half, other guys on ISU were not doing didly squat. Opposing coaches new that, adjusted, doubled/triple teamed Craig and he wasn't allowed to scored 20 again

Imagine if he had some better players around him. A Collins running the point. Teams couldn't do that and he would be impossible to stop

Van Coleman also thought Marcus Brister would be a good Big 12 PG and he thought Mann would come in and contribute a lot right away. He was VERY high on Mann.

I respect his opinions but I've stopped caring what he says about a kid. I'll stick with Rivals/Scout/ESPN for recruiting.

I saw Van at the Cap League when Brister was playing, you would of thought Marcus was going to be Big Time too....I honestly think he would've been our starting pg right now if he had his head on straight.

Then you have a guy like Steph Curry who gets double and triple teamed all the time, he's undersized, doesn't have anyone around him, yet he makes his team better and drops over 30 ppg...
