Re: The Opportunity to Dance is Reason Alone For CB To Return.....
What people don't seem to realize here, is that just because they (the people here) feel one way about something in life, it must mean that everybody else (Craig Brackins and Harrison Barnes) must feel the same way about that topic. I don't claim to know anything about either of them and how they feel about the decisions they have to make. But to say that nobody dreams of playing in the NCAA tournament, and only dreams of playing in the NBA is rediculous. Lucca wanted to play college ball instead of going pro in germany. Why would he not want to make money for playing basketball but instead wish to play college ball? Who knows, but it's his dream to decide.
I bet Blake Griffin still hopes to win the NCAA tourney even though he's going to get a lot of money next year. Some players may want a 'complete career' and not miss out on some things in life. Some people skip straight to the NBA, and maybe that was their goal in life. Maybe others want a large resume of experiences, including the NCAA tourney.
Is that alone enough to make Craig come back. I don't THINK so, but I bet it factors in a little bit. I'd like to see what it's like, and experience the excitement.
If you asked Michael Jordan if he wish he could change his history to take away his NCAA tourney years to have more years in the NBA. I bet he'd say no. Especially considering he went back to finish his degree at UNC (another interesting thing, why go back and finish your degree when you made the NBA?)
Before you say anything about comparing MJ to Craig Brackins is apples to oranges. Why would you change all the success you had? That's not my primary point, my point is, different people value different things and we don't know what Craig values most at this point. Whatever he chooses, his future looks bright and I hope he chooses what turns out to be best for him!
This is my sarcasm pirate. There are many like it but this one is mine.
