Dendy RS Question

Is Dendy eligible for the medical redshirt? There has been a lot of talk about how they'll go for it based on last season but there have also been guys that have said he played in a game late in the year which would make him ineligible for the RS. Which is it? I think he would be a lot more valuable if we could get him for three years as opposed to two. I haven't followed the kid in the least so I'd like to have this clarified if at all possible.

If he would have went to Kansas they would have gave him 2 more year so he would have 4. The problem is he chose ISU so I would immagine we should count on him having 2 years.
Who ever his advisor is should be shot for letting him play in that last game. It was pointless and that will probably be the one the NCAA points to.

It is possible that he could get a 3rd year. Of course with our luck with NCAA it probably wont happen, but it would be great if we could get 3 years.

LD: Yeah, I've become pretty close with Craig Brackins, Diante Garrett, and Dominique Buckley. I talk with Craig a lot. I'm not sure if he's coming back or not. I know we'll be good next year either way

Somebody posted redshirt rules a while back and I thought it said you do not qualify if you played in the second half of your teams season.

we'll be good evan without him.. that kinda sounds like he's preparing us for bad news.. hopefully not

He played something like 1 to many games to get it. If he is as good as they say he is he will be in the NBA after year 2.

If he hadn't played the one game in the 2nd half of the season, I think he could have gotten it...it's just our luck.

Thanks, I was wondering. Kind of a bummer that one game is going to cost him a year.

Davis started the Rice game that year and also played in several others.

In Mac's first year he palyed Todd Bandauer (sp) at the end of the Kansas game late in the year to blow his redshirt.
