Ha. I don't know why anyone would have picked us to beat Kansas last year, but regardless your comment is coming off a little arrogant.

ISU has struggled the last 3 years....really bad. And we still have had more success against Kansas in the Big 12 than pretty much every other team. Give us another year or two and you won't win much at Hilton....again

It may be unreasonable at times, but hence the site. Anyway, how about the game at KU when Brackins had his average game and we kept it with in ten for most of the game.

Brackins had an awesome game, and DG penetrated a bit and hit some free throws, but hardly anyone else could throw a shot in the ocean that night. There was almost no help, or the game would have been much closer. Having said that, it was obvious to everyone that KU had the far superior team. Many of us who bet on ISU on the betting board were betting the spread more than the game outcome, but the Clones can always surprise at home.

That's because many fans on this site have been to lots of games in Hilton and have seen some very improbable wins. I know that comment dates me (graduated in '82) but I have seen a bunch of those wins. To use a reference close to home, I don't believe Danny Manning ever won a game in Hilton in his 4 years at KU, and one of those was a National Championship year. Wayman Tisdale led OK?-I watched Ronnie Harris shut him down. Iowa with 4 future NBA players -Lafester shot them outta the gym. Stipanovich & Sunvold - see ya later alligator. Chris Mihm - I think his face still hurts from Fizer's dunk. Who would think a key player on Texas would clank 2 free-throws in a row...ah the memories...and hopes of more to come!

Just speaking the truth im a die hard iowa state fan but get serious, you guys think this basketball team is going to the final 4 every year and that our players are superstars. You guys need to realize the type of talent it takes to win in the big 12. Yes mcd made a bunch of great moves by running mann and eik out to open up scholorships and i like the fact that he hasnt offered marcus jordan yet and that creekmur kid from marshaltown. I think he finally realizes that you need talent in the big 12 to win games and mo valley players arnt going to cut it. Look up mcd stats since he has been here at iowa state and then get back to me im sick of loosing all the time and im sick of going to hilton to watch us loose night after night right now hilton magic is DEAD.

Die hard Cyclone fans don't talk the way about the team like you have since you started posting.

I am a die hard fan and have been negative towards the mens teams. That doesn't mean that I will throw ISU under the bus in every single thread, regardless of if it is even a topic in that thread. That is what you do. It gets old.

There is a difference between being realistic and going out of your way in every thread to trash the program. This thread was about Kansas and you were able to throw in how ****** of a bball team we were. Good job outta you

If this thread was about our team and you said that we stink, than there would be nothing wrong with it, and I think most would agree
