From ESPN Insider: Chad Ford interviewed an NBA GM who had this to say about Craig Brackins: Craig Brackins, F, Iowa State
"In workouts people are going to say he's Danny Granger. He's a really long 3 who, when he gets a credible jumper like Granger, could end up being a big-time scorer in our league."

Small forward?
Does CB have the quicks for that, particularly on D? I thought of him as a 4.

Ford has him projected as lottery to mid-first round now. I say he has to go, especially since Aldrich is staying....

Just wondering, if he declares on the 26 is there NO turning back, or is that still the point where if he doesn't hire an agent he can still change his mind and come back to college ball?
If he can still come back, when is the day where there is NO turning back?

Besides, who is to say Aldrich will declare next year? Brackins could come back this year and make himself a top 10 pick even if Aldrich does go.

Yep, this thread has just been pwned. |

He either needs to put it on the floor better off the dribble to become a NBA 3, or he needs to be more explosive and stronger to be an NBA 4. I don't think a tweener (finesse 4) kinda guy will have much success... but then again... I'm no expert.

Seriously you hate Iowa State basketball. Aldrich has nothing on Brackins. Aldrich is not even in the same Pro Position as Brackins. 2 totally different players. Saying he has to go now because Ford has him in that spot??? There are like 50 draft projection charts. Some have him 10 and some have him early 2nd round.

True, but Aldrich would be drafted before Brackins, and that is the point.

That was my point. It doesn't matter what position they play....

Ford's projections have been on the more conservative side of things regarding Brackins which is why I said that. I also figure he has more access to scouts and GMS than some of the other sites.
Show me an updated chart that shows Brackins in the 2nd round now....
