news conference tomorrow?
hi guys, just wondering if anyone has any sort of scoop if there will be a press conference tomorrow?
Saturday night is the last day to enter? Something will have to happen tomorrow? I heard from a site he will test the waters but the site isn't very reliable.
We'll see I guess. Post if you know anything We don't need refs, but I guess white guys need something to do. -Charles Barkley- -

Re: news conference tomorrow?
Something I've been thinking about: he could declare without having a big news conference right?
I could see him just deciding, leaving town, and having ISU issue a statement. Not saying he would do that for sure, but it isn't a prerequisite to have a presser to declare..

It would be sweet if the deadline passed and nothing happened.

Re: news conference tomorrow?
I guess I still don't know what the big deal is about tomorrow. He can declare, not get an agent, and still test the waters and come back if he doesn't like where he ends up, can't he?

Re: news conference tomorrow?
Yeah, he can do that... which is why it really doesn't make any sense that he hasn't declared by now. Even if he doesn't plan on going he could see what he has to work on next year to become more NBA ready. Unless, looking on the bright side he plans on staying four years since you can only declare twice...

Re: news conference tomorrow?
They can send out a news release pretty much whenever they want. It could even be after the deadline. So it just because we dont hear anything publicly by Sunday night, doesnt mean nothing happened.
I dont see them having a presser for this anyway. Maybe if we had won back to back Big XII titles and he was a lock to go top 10 like Fizer, maybe. But since he might just test the waters and comeback, theres no reason for him to say "goodbye".

What if he declared this year, withdrew, entered next year and blew out his knee in workouts? I know Brandon Rush was glad he could withdraw after he got hurt several years ago.

If anybody has access to the clocks in Craig's apartment, you could win a lot of friends if you could manage to set them all back an hour or so. Just explain later that you got confused over this daylight savings change. -
