1. Kansas
2. Okie State
3. Oklahoma
4. Texas
5. Kansas State
6. Iowa State
7. TAMU
8. Missouri
9. Baylor
10. Texas Tech
11. Nebraska
12. Colorado
Tis how it will be. I'd be ecstatic if Iowa State jumped to 6th. Would make NCAA's a real possibility.

Anyway, I agree with what most people are saying. We keep a lot and bring in a lot. The 1 thing I think is constant is Kansas dominating. They will be un-real and probably #1 in the nation. I see us at anywhere from 4th to 8th. I really can't see us being lower than Colorado, Nebbie, or Baylor and I would say we should be better than Mizzou and Tech and those are the bare minimums. If we are worse than 7th, I would be very upset!
Yep, this thread has just been pwned. -
Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
Lets see...
1. KU
2. OU
3. Texas
4. ISU, Mizzo, K-State, Baylor, OSU or A&M
10. Texas Tech
11. Nebraska
12. Colorado
I see Iowa State more in the 6-7 spot. Hopefully.

Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
I'm feeling the 7 spot as many of you are. Would love to go higher than that, but we still have many things that need to 'click' into place, and we must still remember that CB is only one man - but a damn fine one at that!

Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
No higher than 5th, no lower than 9th. If I had money on it I would go with 7th aka one NIT home game. Without CB I would've said 10th at best. Thank goodness for today.

who da rest?

Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
It will be close. It will take some of those upsets like a Kansas at home and absoloutly HAVE to win on the road. Plus it sounds like our non-conference is going to be a bit tougher but I think we'll be alright. Probably finish around 6th with an NIT birth IMO. Although obviously I believe we can be better than that but anything is better than another 15-17 season.

Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
I think we'll finish somewhere between 1 and 12, (that was a jock)
No, I really believe though that we could be 4 or 3 if our guards and Hamilton show significant improvement this offseason.

Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
I was bored and had too much time on my hands and figured out what the consensus is so far (via excel) by looking at everyone who made a list 1-12. Here it is.
1. KU
2. OU
3. UT
4. KSU
5. OSU
6. ISU
7. A&M
8. MU
9. BU
10. Tech
11. NU
12. CU
My only gripe with this is I would switch the two and the three. Losing Blake Griffen will be too big of a hit, and Texas improved too much for me to not put Texas 2 and OU 3.

Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
I'll go with ISU winning the Big 12. This way, I can claim ignorance when it doesn't happen, and I can be the one that says I predicted it, if it does happen. -

Re: MBB Big 12 Predictions
I believe Mizzou graduated their entire front court of Carroll, Lyons and Lawrence. They do have some good young perimeter players but replacing Carroll's leadership and Lyons' offensive production will be tough. Until last year Anderson hadn't done much more than Gmac in his 2 previous seasons. I'm also hoping Kent was more than just a 10 point 5 board guy for K-state. Hopefully they are losing the glue to their team and slide back this year even though they will probably be more talented with the freshman PF they are bringing in.
