Wow. He is very well spoken.

You must be referring to where it says that he is attending KU...
I listened to the interview, very well spoken. He seems much older than 17 or so. It would be nice to see us beat KU 4 or 5 times in a row like we did in the late 90's early 2000's.

Re: Harrison Barnes Interview at Jayhawk Inv.
This seems like a well spoken and seriously good kid. Props to him and his Ma for setting the foundation for him being a great person as well as a gifted athlete.
I'd love for him to stay in Ames and continue building his character and helping build ISU basketball, but my well wishes will be understanding if he decides to go out West or out East. I'd root for him and hope he does well even if he decided to move away from his family and roots.
Worst case scenario is having to root against him - hoping he misses a shot or hoping he fails as he plays at Kansas. I'd dislike seeing him go to a hated rival like KU. That is "turncoat" material.

I'm dreaming here, so forgive me - but how great would a Colvin - Barnes backcourt be in two years???

Re: Harrison Barnes Interview at Jayhawk Inv.
He just simply can not go to Kansas...seriously. That would be a heart breaker. It frustrates me he even has them left on his list.

Re: Harrison Barnes Interview at Jayhawk Inv.
At guard, a six foot six inch freshman from Ames, Iowa---Harrison Barnes. Followed by 5 claps and alot of boos. I hope thats not the case but I wonder if that is in the back of that kids mind...

Not trying to start an argument here over nothing, just pointing out that he said "he's in the same position as," not "as good as."
