I never thought it would happen, but I have lost complete interest in MBB recruiting. I dont get it. I love the football recruiting scene, and used to love bball. Maybe it's due to too many internet legends. Maybe just because extreme few have stayed at ISU anyway.

Island High School, Randle, a top five prospect in the state of Illinois, is
averaging 15.6 points, shooting 53 percent from the field and 49 percent
from three-point range, and pulls down 6.8 rebounds per game. Happy now?

Re: Open Scholarship (s)
At what point does the pretend 3-point % number become too low to mention at all? Apparently 45% is too high but I would think 39% isn't worth mentioning. Such a cunundrum(sp) for the scheming statisticians.

I have never cared about football recruiting and I care less and less about BB recuiting all the time.

Considering most AAU scout says that he needs to work on his jump shot, and considering that there was NOT 1 player in basketball that shot 49 percent from behind the line last year, I am going to guess that these stats are incorrect
Which would be the first time EVER that a high school players stats and measurements were incorrect -

I've watched basketball for YEARS and have NEVER seen a 50% 3 point shooter....let alone a 60% (unless they shoot like 10 a year)

Spearmen would be a nice pick-up. As long as we have some decent alternatives for the players we really want.
