“We’ve got a pretty good football conference, and we’ve got a pretty good conference overall. We’re still walking around with our heads held high and our chest out, about that.” Paul Rhoads
Side note: A buddy of mine was college roommates with Marcus Pollard, #16 on the list. He's a really good guy...he hosted a bunch of kids I worked with in an afterschool program at Colts camp a few years ago, where I met him and also some guy named Peyton Manning.
Forever trying to find a cure for the Dunning-Kruger Effect.
He was selected 27th overall by Vancouver Grizzlies in 2001, and has averaged 11.9 points and 8.4 assists per game in a seven-year career for the Indian Pacers.
Indian Pacers? More like Caucasian Pacers
“One day we’ll be in here celebrating a Big 12 championship,” Rhoads said. “That I can promise you.”
I would think Troy Aikman belongs somewhere on that list.
Was thinking the same thing. Arkansas to UCLA I believe? Had a pretty decent career. :)
That 4 straight wins against KU is a good feat along with that trip to the elite eight. I wish young cyclone athletes and fans could experience what that was like along with the rest of us again sometime soon.
Kind of a cool list, but I dont think players should be a transfer for finshing a two school then moving to a 4 year school. It's not like they could stay longer at the CC.
"I believe the state color for Alabama should be primer," Larry the Cable Guy.
There was another juco who won the Heisman, and was later acquitted on murder charges
As I was scrolling through the list 83Clone, the thought that instantly popped into my head was that O.J. Simpson is probably at the top of the list. He was a Juco All American at City College of San Francisco before transferring to USC. How he wasn't on that list is beyond me.
