Re: Capital City League?
So brackins, buckley, Lucca, Christopherson, and Pomlee are all not playing in the league. I am glad that some of the good ex-drake players are playing so there is some better competition for the ISU players to play against.

I know why Brackins & Lucca aren't playing, but does anyone know why Christopherson, Buckley & Pomlee aren't playing?

Re: Capital City League?
Colvin and Oliver will be playing with Barnes. If Barnes actually makes it to more than a couple of games maybe some chemistry can develop.

Re: Capital City League?
I don't get why people are all hyped about this. It's like watching a pickup game at State Gym....
Some guys light it up, people get all pumped, then they do squat in Big 12 play...

It's nice to watch some decent basketball in the summer time though (even though there's not much organization to it). The only reason I've ever gone is to see the incoming guys we have. I will admit, I really do want to see Gilstrap, Colvin, Oliver & Dendy and was looking forward to seeing Pomlee & Christopherson, but the those two won't be playing.

Re: Capital City League?
I'm saying Peak Performance and Granite Transformations are the early front runners for the best team.

Re: Capital City League?
With DG, JVB, and Bubu on the team, I’m going to be pulling for Medical Oncology & Hematology Associates. I wonder what their mascot is? -
Re: Capital City League?
Early Odds
Granite 3-1 favorite
YMCA 4.5-1
Medical 7-1
Capitol 10-1
Peak 20-1 (would be higher if I thought Barnes would play more than 1 game)
Coca 50-1

Yeah, because playing against Drake Players, ISU bench players, High School Players, and former small College Players really gets you ready for Big 12 action
