I was in college during the end of Johnny's tenure. He spoke at our fraternity for an alumni dinner. After dinner, and a few pops, someone asked him what he thought of Vitale - "That guy's an a****ole!"

Also, I noticed they touched on Floyd, Walden, Eustachy, Mac, Chizik, Rhoads, Gene Smith, Jischke, etc. Nothing about Gmac or JP. Coincidence?

GMac was mentioned. Coach Orr said he thinks things are on the right track and hopes he stays a long time... as I remember.

Johnny was, and so am I. One of my fondest memories is him speaking at a rush event. Similar thoughts on what you shared.
